Moving within Akron or between Akron and a nearby Northeast Ohio community? We help organize the heavy lifting for houses, apartments, condos, and downsizing moves. Share a detailed inventory so we can discuss crew size, truck needs, and the work involved.
Access can change the moving plan. Tell us about driveway slopes, steps, long carries, elevators, and furniture on different floors at both addresses. For a business move, share the building’s loading requirements and your preferred schedule.

A local move in Akron takes coordination, from protecting furniture to loading, transportation, and unloading. Tell us about your inventory and access at both properties so we can plan the help you need.
Harrington Moving is a veteran-owned, family-owned business serving Northeast Ohio since 2018. Our approach is straightforward: communicate clearly, handle belongings carefully, and respect your home from arrival to the last item unloaded.
Before your Akron move, confirm when you can enter the new property and what needs to be moved from each floor. Tell us about steep or narrow driveways, parking limits, and any items that may need extra planning.
For apartments and offices, check loading areas, elevator access, and building moving hours. Label boxes by room or work area so unloading follows your plan.
If closing dates or access leave time between properties, ask about available storage options and discuss the costs and timing. Keep important documents, medicines, keys, and overnight essentials with you.
From apartments to full households, our local movers protect your furniture, handle the heavy lifting, and help you settle into your new home.
Keep your local office move organized with careful handling of desks, furniture, equipment, and supplies from your current workspace to the next.
